Sany Char Koay Teow in Titiwangsa offers a straightforward, no-frills dining spot primarily known for its take on Char Kway Teow that resonates with those nostalgic for Penang’s street flavors. This restaurant’s focus is clear: serve hearty, classic Malaysian favorites with a hint of Thai preparations, evident from the mix of menu items like the Char Kway Teow Special, Sate Ikan, and Siakap Stim Limau.

The atmosphere here is casual and family-friendly, making it a practical stop for locals grabbing a meal after an afternoon at nearby Titiwangsa Park or for families looking to enjoy a quick, satisfying dinner without fuss. The modest setting means the focus stays on the food — flavorful, although some ingredients like shrimp may occasionally vary in freshness, based on regular patrons' mentions.

The menu offers enough variety to cater to different cravings, from the intensely savory Char Kuey Teow with prawns and cockles to lighter options like Mango Lassi and Avocado Juice, balancing spice and sweetness. Prices are accessible, with standard plates hovering around RM8 to RM15, which adds to the appeal for everyday meals rather than special occasions.

This spot works well for anyone missing the Penang-style hawker experience but living in Kuala Lumpur, especially families or groups who find the portion sizes and flavors satisfyingly close to the original. Midday or early evening visits align well with those post-park hunger pangs or casual dinner plans in the Titiwangsa neighborhood.

Overall, Sany Char Koay Teow embodies a familiar local rhythm—a place to settle in for comforting, moderately priced food with a straightforward, down-to-earth vibe that fits neatly into the Titiwangsa community’s daily groove.

Used to be Sany Char Koey Teow, but the name has changed to Chat Koay Teow Titiwangsa. Went there with wife and my 3 kids, ordered 1 special CKT, 4 CKT biasa udang. Ended up ordering 1 more CKT special and 1 CKY biasa udang. The taste is still very near to the original Sany CKT in Penang, so if you’re in KL and missing Sany CKT, this might help :) For me, I would repeat this place when craving Sany CKT

Feeling hungry after hanging out at Titiwangsa Park? Head over here to enjoy a satisfying plate of char kuey teow. The taste is decent, and the price is reasonable – RM15 for a meal and drink.
